Let Down

Why is it so hard for some people to open their eyes? Why can't some people ever see that they can be wrong too? How is it okay to yell at someone and never say "sorry?" I can't stand how it's either awesome or beyond crappy here. All I ask is for a little respect (but im home all the time, lol). How I'm supposed to ignore this, and be happy later like he is, is beyond me. What has he done for me lately? How did he make our anniversary special? Why does he think he can yell at me? Why did I let him back if he wasn't going to make an effort?!?!

What the fuck is wrong with me.

TruVista Cable

Dear readers,

If you are currently a subscriber of TruVista cable's services, please let me know how your service is. My cable tv is fine, but my internet is constantly going down and I never get the 10 mbps that I pay for. I usually get about 5. Whenever my net is out, my phone is out. If my net is slow, the phone is crackly. WTF can I do to get better service? There is no TWC in my area, so no other cable options. HELL NO on getting dial-up. And DSL... isn't that more expensive for high speed than cable? And when I have trouble, I call them and complain, but nothing is ever done about it. I've tried being nice and tried being pushy. But neither works.

I hate TruVista.

The Money Machine (and the sick child)

So, my dumb ass wrote a check for 66.00 for my Allstate insurance. and forgot to put money in the account to cover it. So! Not only do I have a 66.00 negative, but an additional 35.00 negative. Woot. Gotta love being an absent-minded loser. I had the money in my personal account, but I just simply forgot to xfer.

Also, my little boy was really sick yesterday. Eliot had been sick the night before; so I was shocked when daycare called me yesterday and said Ethan was sick. They said his fever was 104.4. I jumped in the car, called the pediatrician, lit up one, and floored it. I turned on my flashers and got to daycare in record time. Once I had my sick boo-boo (and his bro), I got back in the car and drove to the Dr. He got his finger stuck, ears looked at, tongue held down, throat swabbed, leg stabbed (with a 14g needle), cup peed in (twice)... then we went to the hospital and got stabbed again. This time, the tests to be run were going to be a bit more detailed. He left all of this without a definite diagnosis. Later in the night, I find out that there is strep going around at daycare. Thanks for telling us, guys!!! (GSO, coffcoff)  He never ran a fever as high as he did yesterday morning. Thank God.
